Ariana Madix, a longtime beloved star of Bravo’s hit series “Vanderpump Rules,” is the perfect combination of beauty, brains and talent. She joined the cast of the long-running, Emmy® Award-nominated program after being sought out while bartending at Hollywood hot spot SUR. On screen and off, her wit, charm and honesty have made her a favorite of brands and fans alike.

Born in Melbourne, Florida, Madix always had dreams of being an actress. As early as kindergarten, she would do stand-up comedy performances in the family living room and eventually starred in her first musical in the sixth grade. She felt destined for Broadway and went on to study at Flagler College where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater. Upon graduation, she packed up her bags and moved to NYC where she studied at NYU’s famous Tisch School before following her dream of working in film and television in Los Angeles. Madix soon had feature films under belt including “Working It Out” (winner of the 2011 Appalachian Film Festival), “Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader” with Sean Young and Treat Williams and in “Dead End” with Vivica A. Fox. She has stayed true to her love for comedy and has been seen in the sitcoms “Dads” (Fox) and “Anger Management” (FX). She has also starred in numerous College Humor Originals skits for the popular YouTube Channel, amassing millions of views.

Her extraordinary bartending talents have helped her craft top-notch artisanal concoctions as a bartender in some of the trendiest and most popular bars in New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. In 2019, HarperCollins published her long-awaited cocktail book, “Fancy AF Cocktails: Drink Recipes from a Couple of Professional Drinkers,” which was an Amazon Best Seller. Most recently, Madix has created the Drink From Home brand which features direct-to-consumer cocktail kits, custom recipes created by Madix, and proprietary ingredients created and available only through DFH.

Later this year, Madix stars in Lifetime’s “Buying Back My Daughter.” Based on a true story, she stars as a police officer helping Meagan Good find her daughter, who has gone missing and is being trafficked. She’ll also appear on the long-running and Emmy Award-nominated ABC hit series, “Dancing with the Stars,” where she will be seen alongside top talent vying for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. When not working, Madix enjoys riding horses and has been participating in events and show jumping since she was 6 years old. She is passionate about health and wellness and also holds great importance in giving back to the community. She has worked with Mutt Scouts; fostering dogs, Bullies Reality; an anti-bullying group, and is a participant in GLAAD’s Spirit Day.
