The twenty-ninth season of Dancing with the Stars will premiere in Fall 2020.

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will not return as hosts, Tyra Banks is hired as the new host and executive producer.[1]

It is not known yet if Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman will return as judges.

Dancing with the Stars new season will premiere this fall in its usual Mondays-at-8 time slot.

ABC is looking to bring back Christie Brinkley for this upcoming season and get Charlie Sheen, who rejected their offer to participate in the previous season.[2]

Producers revealed in March that a same-sex couple will dance in the competition this season. The U.K.'s Strictly Come Dancing will also feature a same-sex couple in its next season, while the Australian version has already had one in its last season.[3]

During The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons - Ever!, Season 11's Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe, was announced as the first participant.

Lindsay Arnold is pregnant and is due to give birth in November and will therefore not be a pro this season. Witney Carson is also pregnant and is due to give birth in January and will therefore not be a pro this season.
